![]() As times change, so has the design of standard public highchairs. In general, they are no longer scrubbed down and covered with cellophane wrap to ensure that they've been sanitized. Babies and toddlers touch everything within their reach, which brings a host of new concerns about the uncertainty of not only known illnesses, but also bioterrorism. Yet, as parents we still have everyday concerns about bacteria (such as e-coli, strep, staff and gastroenteritis) and viruses (such as common cold, influenza, and respiratory cyncytial virus [R.S.V.]). These are just a few of the diseases that are spread through hand-to-mouth contact. Tiny Diner®, with it's patented design, is a wonderful product to help alleviate concerns parents may have while dining out with their little one. I designed it to completely cover the highchair. Whether baby is sitting straight, leaning over, or turned around visiting with someone nearby, all exposed parts of the chair are covered. Because Tiny Diner® goes over and not into the highchair/shopping cart, baby cannot directly touch any part of the surface, and any food that baby drops, goes to the floor not in baby's lap. Tiny Diner® fits any size shopping cart as well. It drapes completely over the cart handle protecting baby's hands and mom's hands from touching the front handle. Tiny Diner® truly has many uses. |
